Mission Statement
RIPP (UK) have one simple mission: to advance Paranormal Research.
We have found through investigating, that we often experience more activity when we are working with the same group of people. This could be due to feeling more comfortable in each others' presence; and for locations which we repeatedly visit, there is a theory that the spirits there may also get to know us too!
To this end, we decided to form this team, with the aim of only having approximately 10 people on each investigation; of course this may vary slightly depending on the location. We feel that having too many people creates too much noise and disturbance as well as the uncertainty of having people you do not know.
We feel there is much to be gained by working in partnership with other investigative groups - we have one common aim, to find evidence of the paranormal and can learn from each other. On occasion, we will join forces with selected groups to investigate locations, where perhaps the cost or numbers required is otherwise prohibitive.
There will be an emphasis on researching the history of the locations. We also use experimental techniques, together with the usual E.V.P. and Trigger Object experiments, we experiment with such things as Automatic Writing, Astral Projection and Role-Playing. The team are also keen on researching what it is like to be in the spiritual world - what was spirits' experience of passing over? What is it like for them now? etc.
Ultimately, we aim to be....Advancing Paranormal Research...
