Married to Chris and blessed with two wonderful children. I started my path into the paranormal at the tender age of 18 months
(although I was unaware of it at the
time!).
I have always lived with spirit friends and have as many questions now as I did
as a child.
I have been lucky enough to experience so many different things that are classed
as 'paranormal' and although I have been invited
to visit many homes and other types of buildings I never really had anyone (other than the people connected to the locations) to share
my experiences with.
I joined a paranormal investigation group and felt that I had found an extended
family, it was a joy to meet so many people in search for
the same things as me.
Now I am happily entwined with some of those people, those who have decided to
begin this new venture into the research of the paranormal
are numbered amongst
my closest and most trusted friends.
I am truly looking forward to these new corners which we hope to
turn..................
Annie

I am a 36 year old Project Manager, living in South Yorkshire. I am married to Steven,
with our blessed little boy, Danny, born Oct 06. I am the youngest of 8
siblings.
I have always been interested in the paranormal, with my mum and various members
of her family having experiences. My most vivid memory is one night with my
mother, I suddenly had a really strong scent of roses…..I asked my mum if there
was an air freshener in the room, without even stopping to think that we had
been sitting there for hours, so she hadn’t even had a chance to bring in one,
to account for the suddenness of the experience.
She calmly told me it was her sister visiting – ‘her’ scent was roses and it was
a way of comforting my mother, as this elder sister had been a second mother to
my mother, they were extremely close and she had died young.
I didn’t know it then, but a few short years later, my own parents were to die
within 6 months of each other. After they died, I basically wandered the
‘wilderness’, finding my way in the world, as I was quite young when they
passed. I had some personal experiences along the way, but I realise now that I
was not ready to pursue these further.
Then a few years ago, I settled down in an area of the country I could call
home and decided to do something about my passion; I found a paranormal group on
the web and went along to one of their investigations. There I was amazed to
meet like-minded people, who were taking it seriously…..I hadn’t known what to
expect. My lasting memory of that first meeting, is saying to Annie (both Steven
and I felt drawn to Annie and Chris from that very first meeting, for some
reason), that I felt really comfortable there and happy to be there. She said it
was probably because it was the first time I was among like-minded people. I had
a very scientific approach then, as I had studied the sciences, but even at that
early stage, I experienced things I could not explain in any way other than
paranormal.
Since then, I have attended many investigations, with existing groups,
being a core team member. I had a
reading from our very own site medium, Maureen, not long after; I
should point out that I didn’t know her then! That reading quite literally
changed my life. I was left with no doubt whatsoever that we do go on in the
spirit world, after we leave the physical body. I have been pursuing my own
spiritual path of mediumistic development, aided by attending Maureen’s
workshops. My goal would be to further the ability to a point where I could
reliably provide readings for people, to give them the comfort and or knowledge
that will bring them peace and possibly open up a whole new spiritual realm to
them. I personally have found such inner calm and tranquility on my journey
along this path.
Hope you enjoy the site and the group – we will continue to strive to further
the research.

I have been a working
medium for the past 16 years. I serve many churches all across the UK,
overseas and on live radio. My mediumistic work has also lead me into
the teaching of many spiritualist and mediumistic topics. In fact, my
teaching has become a great passion for me. I believe very strongly in
the necessity of training and development for all aspects of mediumistic
work. As ambassadors for the spirit world, we need to have an ability to present our mediumship in a professional and responsible manner. The right training and development can help us to build a firm foundation upon which we can spend a lifetime expanding and progressing in our work for the spirit. That is why I cover all levels of mediumistic training, from novice to higher levels of mediumship. Our novice mediums need a loving, nurturing and encouraging environment where they can feel safe and confident enough to allow their gifts to unfold naturally. Those who are already working on our church platforms will agree I am sure, when I say that mediumship development is a lifelong commitment, constantly learning and growing, so from time to time we need to have more advanced levels of training where our working mediums can be given the opportunity to push back their own boundaries and discover new depths to their mediumship. |
My love of Colour and my work with Colour in the Aura and Colour in Mediumship has lead me to study Colour as a Healing tool, where I gained a diploma as a Colour Therapist. Other areas of my training and work lay with Trance and the Altered States of Consciousness. Now over the last 5 years I have had a great interest and association with the Native American teaching and traditions. I accepted the opportunity to go to the USA and stay with the Cherokee and Lakota people, who have taught me so much about their philosophy and spirituality.
I have learned over the years that life can be a very exciting adventure if we only take the time to look at our future as an endless journey of discovery, to find our true self.

Being married to Annie has introduced me
to things that I had always dismissed in my younger days.
Even after we had decided that we would allow fate to bring us together Annie
would sometimes make no sense (which is still the case as most of you will know)
(ducking)! But for some reason I was able to accept whatever she was seeing or
'sensing'.
The turning point for me was when Annie's grandfather passed over. A few months
after this event we were out walking through a park, chatting as you do, when we
happened across a gentleman sitting on a bench, we both smiled and said hello as
we passed. 5 seconds later I turned to Annie "Did you see what I saw?" She
nodded and smiled "Yes it was my grandad".
We turned back and looked at the bench. He was gone.
Several other times in my life I have had certain experiences but being a
sceptic I had put them down to anything other than paranormal. Now I'm not so
sure.
When Annie joined a paranormal group, I decided that I would accompany her on an investigation, I
am now well and truly hooked.
I am still not able to say I believe in the paranormal but I am quite happy to
continue searching.
